About the role

AFC Industries PA, Inc., a manufacturing company based in Berwick, PA, is seeking an experienced Welder to join their dynamic team. They are leaders in the design and manufacture of Ergonomic Interactive Technical products for various industries, serving customers such as Medical/Healthcare, Public Safety/Mission Control, Government Agencies, IT, and Financial Corporations.

Responsibilities

• TIG and MIG welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Perform operations involved in general product assembly
• Interpret and apply information from drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications accurately
• Adhere to company guidelines and quality standards
• Learn and develop new skills as needed
• Create and interpret technical documentation
• Work in other departments as requested
• Stand and bend for 8-10 hours and lift up to 35 lbs

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in TIG and MIG welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Strong work ethic and a desire to work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to give 100%

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to physically stand and bend for 8-10 hours and lift up to 35 lbs

Skills

• Accurately interpret and apply information from drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications
• Ability to create and interpret technical documentation

Benefits

• Flexible schedule options: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or Monday to Thursday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
• Competitive pay range: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
