Primary Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as Required
- Communicate issues with fixtures, customer prints, material issues, welding equipment, and supporting welding equipment and power/hand tools used in the welding process
- Follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others
- Establish priorities for efficiently staging, processing, and packaging materials
- Accepts responsibility for all aspects of the work produced
- Inspect and verify all aspects of the material when receiving, producing, or packaging size, grade, measurements, heat, quantity, etc.
- Scrutinize customer requirements and special instructions to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
- Confirm materials and parts are produced to print
- Ensure inventory is accurate
- Ensure audit and material traceability procedures are being followed throughout the process
Physical & Work Requirements
- Working at a job site or facility within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy; steel-toed boots required daily
- Must work with hot welding processes and products
- Facility is a multiple shift operation
- Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule and be on-call at various times including possible weekends and holidays
- Fast-paced moderately stressful, constantly changing day-to-day work environment
Starting Pay and Benefits
Starting pay of $19.50/hr plus $2.50/hr shift differential, with higher pay based on experience. Hours: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Weekly pay. On-the-job training. Moderately stressful and constantly changing work environment. Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 51 lbs.
