About the role
The Welder/Fabricator supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and strives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for the set up and welding of parts according to blueprint or schematic requirements. The Welder will also assist with operation, assembly, and other warehouse duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Set up and weld parts according to blueprint or schematic requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
- Assist with operation, assembly, and other warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with MIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, and safety and quality conscious
- Basic math skills
- Understanding of devices such as micrometers, calipers, straightedges, and other various measuring tools
