Responsibilities
- Assemble parts for the welding process, including drilling, grinding, and welding.
- Read blueprints and schematic diagrams to set up parts correctly.
- Weld sheet metal materials accurately.
- Use and operate hand and power tools as needed.
- Lift light and heavy parts as necessary.
- Operate a crane/hoist for heavy lifting tasks.
- Assist co-workers with heavy lifting and other tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous welding experience.
- Ability to obtain a certificate in Welding with Pierce Manufacturing.
- Associates Degree in Welding or Certified Welder preferred.
- Previous experience welding at Pierce Manufacturing.
- Blue Print reading skills.

Shift Overview

- Shift times and overtime vary by position, department, and location.
- 1st shift: Monday – Thursday, four 10-hour days, with additional hours on Fridays and occasionally Saturdays.

Basic Qualifications
- Previous welding experience.
- Ability to obtain a certificate in Welding with Pierce Manufacturing.
- To complete essential functions, candidates should have an Associates Degree in Welding or be certified as a Welder.
- Preferred qualifications include previous experience welding at Pierce Manufacturing and blue print reading skills.
