Weld Technician - Afternoon Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations for paint jig tooling, including:
• Operating industrial power washers
• Using paint stripping ovens
• Conducting gauging, maintenance, and repair of paint jig tooling
• Utilize metal fabrication tools and welding skills to complete repairs
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to develop and maintain cleaning schedules
• Maintain accurate documentation of tooling condition, maintenance, and repairs
• Communicate tooling status, concerns, and improvement opportunities to the team

Qualifications

• Completion of a welding skills assessment (used to establish baseline skill level)
• Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong time management skills to support production schedules
• A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
