About the Role

Centennial AME Zion Church, a historic landmark in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a committed individual to join our team in serving the Genesee/Moselle neighborhood. We are a church dedicated to community service, operating within the A.M.E. Zion Church denomination and guided by the Holy Bible and The Book of Discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the church's mission to serve the community in the Fillmore District
• Collaborate with church leadership, including the Presiding Elder and District leadership
• Participate in the church's governance structure at various levels (General Conference, Annual Conference, District Conference, Quarterly Conference, Leaders' Meeting, Members Meeting)
• Help grow and develop the church's community outreach programs

Qualifications

• Commitment to the Christian faith and the doctrines of the A.M.E. Zion Church
• Alignment with the church's mission to serve the underserved community of Buffalo
• Willingness to work within the denominational structure and governance
