About the role
The Weight Management Advanced Practice Clinician will evaluate and treat patients in the medical weight loss program at ChristianaCare's Center for Metabolic Health and Bariatric Surgery. This role involves working closely with the bariatric surgery team to provide postoperative care as needed.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in the medical weight loss program
- Collaborate with registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, clinical psychologists, and case managers
- Work in partnership with the bariatric surgery team to provide postoperative care
- Provide support through the latest personalized weight loss treatments including lifestyle changes, weight loss medications, and meal replacement products
- Participate in weekly administrative tasks as part of the schedule
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing
- Maintain state licensure as a registered nurse and as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Hold national certification by an approved certifying agency as a Nurse Practitioner
- Have prescriptive authority from state and federal authorities
- Experience as an APRN is preferred

Pay
$111,632.00 - $141,534.00 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
