Job Summary

Mohawk Valley Health System is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to join their team at MVHS Bariatric Surgery. This is a full-time office position that works closely with 3 surgeons and Physician Assistants, collaborating 1:1 in the OR and clinic.

Education/Experience Requirements

- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner’s Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required. - Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital privileges. - Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas. - Familiarity with EHR/EMR software.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges. - Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED

- Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
