Responsibilities

• Pick up and place packages on infeed belts to pre-price scales.
• Stack empty baskets and dividers; maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
• Maintain balance and lift, push, or pull up to 80 pounds repeatedly.
• Move wheeled racks containing 7 baskets each, weighing between 200 – 400 pounds.
• Work in cold conditions using provided freezer gear.
• Maintain and enhance quality and food safety standards to comply with company and USDA regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors and lead personnel.

Requirements

• Report to work regularly and on time, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Follow established rules, procedures, and accept constructive feedback.
• Ensure safety and set a positive example for others.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety protocols.
• Walk and stand on concrete, grating, or metal stands for extended periods in cold environments.

Pay and Schedule

The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with shift premiums of $0.50 for hours worked 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for hours worked midnight-8am. A longevity premium of $0.25 is added after one year of service, and an attendance premium of $0.25 is also available.
