Weigh and Price /Over Crew- Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Remove packages from baskets and place them on infeed belts to pre-price scales.
• Stack empty baskets and dividers; keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Move wheeled racks 7 baskets high weighing between 200 – 400 pounds.
• Lift, push, and/or pull up to 80 pounds repeatedly.
• Work in cold conditions using provided freezer gear.
• Maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision and Lead personnel.

Requirements

• Report regularly and on time to work as well as work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Understand and follow established rules and procedures as well as accept constructive feedback.
• Work safely and set an example of good working safe habits.
• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all Food Safety procedures.
• Walk and stand on concrete floor, grating, or metal stand in a cold environment for prolonged periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Pay

The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour with shift premiums of $0.50 for hours worked 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for hours worked midnight-8am. A longevity premium of $0.25 is added after one year of service. An attendance premium of $0.25 is also available.

Schedule

Work in shifts that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required.
