Responsibilities

• Serve as a voice for patients and communicate with patients, families, and the hospice care team.
• Act as patient advocate to ensure every patient receives quality care.
• Provide after‑hours coverage on call from 5 pm Friday to 8 am Monday as a salaried full‑time RN.
• Receive support from the 24/7 RN‑staffed Triage Department and local hospice team.

Qualifications

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state RN license.
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80‑100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
