"Weekend Warrior" Medication Technician/Caregiver

About the role

ABridge Care Concepts, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Caregiver to join its growing team of “Weekend Warriors.” This position offers flexibility to pick up shifts as needed and provides the opportunity to work in a warm, friendly environment where residents maintain independence while receiving assistance. Caregivers collaborate with a caring, dedicated staff, support customized care plans, and gain experience delivering physical, occupational, and speech therapy on‑site. The role also involves making a difference for individuals living with dementia at ABridge Care Cottages, which are designed to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and assistance to residents.
• Assist with transportation arrangements and schedule appointments.
• Engage residents in health‑promotional activities such as exercise groups and walking clubs.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage medication schedules.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare personnel.
• Implement memory‑care and dementia‑related behavioral interventions.
• Participate in functional maintenance programs developed by therapists.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility programs.
• Monitor and address personal needs, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Availability to work night shifts and weekends.
• Demonstrated caring and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for exceptional care.
