Primary Responsibilities
- Taking orders from customers
- Preparing and serving food
- Handling transactions and cash-handling
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area
- Stocking inventory and replenishing supplies
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Following safety and hygiene procedures to ensure food safety
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the snack bar
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D.
- NYC Food Handlers License (strongly preferred if not, the ability to get within one month)
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
