Weekend Sign Installer - Indian Trail, NC

Responsibilities

  • Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations.
  • Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM.
  • Pickup the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM.
  • Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week.
  • Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pickup using the Artisan Direct website.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
  • Age 18 +.
  • Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30 + signs.
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile app.
  • Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors.
  • Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.
  • Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend.

Pay

  • Starting compensation: $129.75 per weekend.
  • Pay issued via direct deposit every two weeks.
  • $20.00 signing bonus.
  • $100.00 bonus after four weeks of completed work.

Schedule

Install signs between Friday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM. Pickup signs between Sunday 6:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM. Work may be performed at any time within those windows, provided all signs are placed by Saturday 10:00 AM and removed by Monday 8:00 AM.

Independent Contractor Notice

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are not employees of Artisan Direct and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. Contractors determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and complete the work within the placement and pickup windows provided. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must complete any route they commit to.

Additional Information

The starting pay reflects the current work available in this location; additional work may be offered as it becomes available, potentially increasing earnings. This role is well‑suited for delivery and rideshare drivers, couriers, retirees, veterans, or anyone seeking flexible supplemental income. The work is straightforward, independent, and recurring each weekend.
