About the role

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Catawba, NC area in the community Cardiff Glyn. The contractor will install signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM and pick up the same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. Work may be performed anytime within those windows as long as all signs are placed by Saturday 10:00 AM and removed by Monday 8:00 AM. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic on wooden stakes; Artisan Direct provides the signs, stakes, and replacement inventory as needed. The contractor uses the company’s mobile app to report installation and pickup, stores signs and extra stakes safely during the week, and submits a weekly invoice and orders replacement inventory via the website after pickup.

Responsibilities

  • Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations
  • Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM
  • Pick up the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM
  • Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week
  • Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pickup using the website

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • 18+ years old
  • Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile app
  • Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors
  • Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only
  • Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend

Pay

  • Starting compensation: $82.50 per weekend
  • Pay issued via direct deposit every two weeks
  • $20.00 signing bonus
  • $100.00 bonus after 4 weeks of completed work

Schedule

Installation window: Friday 5:00 PM – Saturday 10:00 AM. Pickup window: Sunday 6:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM. Work may be performed anytime within those windows as long as all signs are placed by Saturday 10:00 AM and removed by Monday 8:00 AM.
