Weekend Shift - Production Associate - Paint Line

About the role

CPI has an immediate need for a Production Associate - Paint in its Georgetown, Texas location for their Weekend Shift. The schedule is Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Hangs fabricated parts on the conveyor paint line to engineering specifications.
• Prepares parts for painting.
• Removes parts from the line once painted.
• Determines best practice hanging methods to maximize paint quality and load density.
• Inspects hooks for burn off lifecycles.
• Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety requirements.
• Corrects any safety issues prior to operating the equipment.
• Inspects coated items for paint coverage and tests for coating thickness.
• Performs some washer preventive maintenance tasks.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment.
• Affords assistance and training others to hang parts on the paint line.

Qualifications

• Technical Competencies: One (1) year of related experience, Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications, Ability to use measuring devices, Good mechanical skills, Good troubleshooting skills, Ability to read and understand equipment operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Physical/Environmental Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, carrying, lifting, stooping, and crouching, Work with fabricated metal parts, powder coated materials and cleaning chemicals, Lift up to 50 lbs.
