Responsibilities
- Set up and change over paper converting equipment efficiently to meet production demands
- General cleaning and care for converting machines and equipment
- Identifying, monitoring, and performing minor troubleshooting for problems and breakdowns of equipment
- Performing routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and equipment history
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all production equipment
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude – if you love working with your hands, this is the job for you
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and occasionally climb ladders
- Bending and stooping for short periods of time
