Weekend Security Supervisor

This Weekend Security Supervisor role blends leadership and hands-on security at a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility: you’ll serve as Shift Supervisor on Saturdays and Sundays and as a Security Officer Wednesday through Friday.

Schedule

• Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Work days: Wednesday through Sunday
• Days off: Monday, Tuesday
• Hours per week: 40 (full-time)
• Post assignment: Shift Supervisor on Sat & Sun ($20.00/hr); Security Officer Wed–Fri ($17.50/hr)

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scan tags on approved employee devices; verify IMEI matches sticker or paperwork.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts; open/close dock doors; track outbound trucks; count pallets for inbound trucks; monitor open dock doors during loading; oversee special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Count pallets for inbound trucks; monitor special projects during peak season; send/receive emails; type truck information; monitor open dock doors; open/close dock doors.
• Metal Detector / X‑Ray: Check devices in/out (only approved devices with sticker or paperwork allowed); ensure visitors clear through X‑ray; monitor X‑ray machine; prevent prohibited items from entering the building.
• Rover: Patrol the facility to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: Monitor all high‑value loads via computer software.

Qualifications

Required

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Texas Non‑Commissioned Security License (mandatory)
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to commit to the posted schedule: Wed–Sun, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Preferred

• Bilingual (considered a plus)
