Weekend Security Supervisor

We are hiring a Weekend Security Supervisor for a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility. You will lead the shift on Saturdays and Sundays as Supervisor and serve as a Security Officer Wednesday through Friday. The site demands the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Schedule

• Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Work days: Wednesday through Sunday
• Days off: Monday, Tuesday
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Full-time
• Post assignment: Shift Supervisor on Saturday & Sunday ($20.00/hr); Security Officer Wednesday–Friday ($17.50/hr)

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scan tags on approved employee devices; verify phone IMEI matches sticker or paperwork for approved devices.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts; open and close dock doors; track outbound trucks; count pallets for inbound trucks; monitor open dock doors during loading; monitor special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Count pallets for inbound trucks; monitor special projects during peak season; send and receive emails; type truck information; monitor open dock doors; open and close dock doors.
• Metal Detector / X-Ray: Check devices in and out — only approved devices with sticker or paperwork allowed; ensure visitors clear through X-ray; watch X-ray machine for prohibited items; prevent prohibited items from entering the building.
• Rover: Walk throughout the area to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: Track all high-value loads via computer software.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Texas Non-Commissioned Security License (required)
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to commit to the posted schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (considered a plus)

Pay

• Security Officer days (Wed–Fri): $17.50 per hour
• Supervisor days (Sat–Sun): $20.00 per hour
