Weekend Security Officer
About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Weekend Security Officer – Concierge in Birmingham, Alabama. The ideal candidate should possess a valid Alabama Security License, be authorized to work in the U.S., and be able to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, along with proficiency in basic phone and computer skills. Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Tell visitors how you reassure and inspire confidence through your natural ability to engage with others.
- Manage access control and perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
- Answer questions in person or by phone.
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Qualifications
- Valid Alabama Security License
- Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Able to pass an extensive screening process
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Pay
$16.75 per hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees)
Schedule
Part Time. Saturday 6am to 2pm and Sunday 2pm to 10pm
