Weekend Security Guard - 1st Shift

Allegiance, a premier facility services provider, is seeking a Weekend Security Guard for an industrial facility in Claremont, NC. The position offers on‑the‑job training and the opportunity for long‑term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
• Follow written and verbal directives.
• Stand or walk constantly for multiple hours on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt).
• Monitor security cameras.
• Engage in public relations, maintain awareness, and interact tactfully with the public.
• Assist in investigations concerning loss or damage of client property.
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policies, procedures, and other directives.
• Obtain detailed statements, write reports, interview, observe, and document information professionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to detect safety hazards, communicate with appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Guard License.

Schedule

• Weekend shift: Saturday – Sunday, 7 am – 3 pm.
