Weekend RN-Marshall

About the role

This role is essential to maintaining quality resident care and nursing operations during weekend shifts. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are critical, along with the ability to multitask, lead with professionalism, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, assigning and delegating duties based on resident census and staff availability
• Oversee medication management, monitoring medication administration and coordinating reorders
• Implement and ensure care plans are followed according to company policy and physician orders
• Provide direct care support by performing and supervising treatments, and serving as staff nurse as needed
• Manage documentation by transcribing physician orders promptly, completing assessments, and maintaining accurate records
• Lead shift communication by participating in shift reports and ensuring staff are informed of care needs
• Ensure compliance by enforcing infection control procedures and safe work practices
• Respond to staffing needs by coordinating coverage for shortages
• Oversee incidents by investigating variances, contacting families, and completing incident reports
• Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up
• This position requires a minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours of work per day during assigned shifts

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Texas
• 1 year of experience with current license

This is a full-time position for weekends. Salary to be discussed based on experience.
