Weekend Public Safety Officer

About the role

As a Weekend Public Safety Officer at Paoli Hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment both on and off campus. You will monitor and respond to emergent situations and sensitive patient matters using your professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance to ensure a safe hospital environment.
• Respond appropriately to emergent situations and delicate patient matters.
• Attend MLH Education & Development Classes to support personal and professional growth.
• Participate in ongoing feedback and career development through performance appraisals and 1:1 communication with your Manager.

Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare setting or security/customer service-related field preferred.
• Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Office Word and Outlook.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record for the last ten years.
• Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).
• Completion of Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within four months of employment.

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
