Weekend PT Security Officer

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate a safe working environment for employees at Mountaire Farms. The individual will be responsible for protecting personnel and property from various threats such as fire, theft, damage, and malicious injury.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas from a fixed station, on foot, or by vehicle.
• Control authorized access to company buildings and property.
• Respond to emergency situations, which may require working long hours and additional days as assigned.
• Work in all weather conditions and temperatures, and be prepared to stand for extended periods (up to 2-3 hours).
• Comply with all Company safety policies, S.O.P. regulations, and support the Goal Zero mission statement.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and safety needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or relevant military experience.
• Able to pass Mountaire’s Non-Commercial Vehicle Policy driving record check.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
