Weekend/ Part Time Patrolling Security Officer

About the role

Patrolling Security Officer – We help make your world a safer place. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. Officers preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area, and frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Providing customer service and information to client’s employees and customers.
• Actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations.
• Preserving order and enforcing regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Requirements

• 1 year of security experience required.
• Driver certification.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary; candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality background are a great fit.
• Training provided for those without security experience to introduce a career in the security industry.

Pay

Wage: $20.00 per hour; weekly pay.

Schedule
