Weekend/ Part Time Patrolling Security Officer

About the role

Patrolling Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. Officers preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. They frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers, contributing to a safer world.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site, providing security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Requirements

• One year of security experience required.
• Driver certification required.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
