About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, quality clinical care and supervises nursing assistants on assigned units.
Responsibilities
- Visit residents daily to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status; notify charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing (DON) of any changes.
- Identify resident problems and emergency situations; initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
- Provide holistic care within the scope of your LPN license.
- Monitor inventory of medications, medical supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate supply.
- Complete administrative duties such as medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
- Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals per facility policies.
Schedule
Weekend Package Program: Work a minimum of two 8-hour or 12-hour shifts every weekend.
- Earn an additional $5.00/hour for hours worked between 6 PM Friday and 7 AM Monday.
- Additional shift differentials apply for evening or night shifts on weekends.
Requirements
- Current, valid state LPN license.
- Current, valid CPR certification.
