Weekend Overnight Security Officer

Location: Princeton, NJ

Position Overview

IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Officer to oversee operations at a hotel in Princeton, NJ. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. This is a hands‑on role with opportunities for growth within IronRock Security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor access control points
• Conduct regular patrols of the residential property
• Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed
• Write clear incident and daily activity reports
• Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs
• Maintain a professional and customer‑friendly presence
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately

Requirements

• Previous security experience required
• Access control experience required
• Valid driver’s license (required for periodic mobile patrols)
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Pay

$17‑18.50 per hour
