Shift Information

• (10p-6a) Friday and Saturday Overnight
• Must have a Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record!

Responsibilities

• Completes required brand training.
• Contributes to the achievement of hotel goals for guest satisfaction.
• Provides information and assistance to hotel guests regarding the local area and hotel amenities.
• Daily cleaning of all public areas and back of house.
• Reports any maintenance issues immediately to maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and clutter-free work environment.
• Follows hotel lost and found procedures.
• Removes trash and debris from the property.
• Cleans and polishes elevator panels.
• Maintains pool and fitness facility cleanliness.
• Washes, sanitizes, and wraps guest room glassware.
• Ensures public and restroom cleanliness.
• Communicates inventory and supply needs to Housekeeping.
• Assists with room attendant and laundry operations.
• Completes special projects as needed.
• Follows hotel Do Not Disturb procedures.
• Manages a well-stocked and maintained houseman cart.
• Reports any maintenance or repair issues to appropriate managers.
• Contributes to meeting hotel's financial goals through loss prevention & overall cost control.
• Recognizes and corrects potential safety hazards and security problems.
• Reports any conditions endangering associates or guests.
• Understands and follows “Right to Know” MSDS instructions.
• Protects personal and guest information.
• Follows hotel room entry security procedures.
• Ensures personal safety.
• Adheres to hotel policies and procedures.
• Stays informed and capable of performing necessary hotel procedures in case of an emergency.
• Manages time effectively.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Complies with all brand standards.
• Demonstrates respect, integrity, and sound judgment.

Physical Demands

• Regularly walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talks or hears.
• Frequently reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, reasonable color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience related to the above duties is helpful but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
• Must have a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
• Must be neat, professional, and well-groomed.
• Must possess good organization/time management skills.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be in good physical condition as the job requires frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, handling, and gripping.
• Able to relate well to hotel guests and co-workers.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Able to learn quickly.
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.

Compensation

$17.00 per hour
