Weekend Overnight Direct Support Professional

About the role

Jill’s House is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to providing short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities

• Guidance and supervision of individuals to whom you are assigned.
• Performing a combination of basic care, assistance with activities of daily living, and client engagement in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Following each client’s service plan and creating a safe and positive experience for all participants.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1+ years of experience working in a direct care role and with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Must have patience and good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Physical strength and stamina to help individuals transition into bed.
• Must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision and Values as well as abide by the Standards of Christian Conduct.

Pay

• $19.50 per hour

• Saturday, 6 pm, 7 am
