Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage high-visibility/priority custom online research studies, particularly quick-turn projects that are programmed and fielded within ~60 hours.
- Identify design, logic, and data errors when auditing questionnaires, online programs, other data layouts, etc.
- Thoroughly review qualitative responses as part of data cleaning protocols.
- Cooksample management to ensure on-time and on-budget project closure.
- Troubleshoot project concerns, manage escalations from Research Managers and/or client services, problem-solve, and provide solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes to expedite deliverables to internal partners and clients.
- Collaborate with supervisor and/or executive team members on resourcing decisions.
Qualifications
- Education & Training: BA/BS with a strong academic record and analytical background. Knowledge of MS Office & Outlook required; Experience with business-related software such as Decipher preferred.
- Internet-savvy with an ability to independently problem-solve issues by using online resources.
- Previous Experience: Minimum two years of supplier-side market research experience preferred. Experience with various market research methodologies preferred. Experience managing research projects independently from start to finish, including managing tasks, delegating effectively, and adhering to timelines/deadlines preferred. Knowledgeable of research operations concepts such as sampling, survey programming/QA, and data processing preferred. Understanding of effective survey design and questionnaire structure to meet varying research needs preferred. Experience mentoring junior level staff a plus.
- Professional Skills: Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; advanced proofreading, editing, and writing-for-clarity skills. Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly, as well as adapt to new/evolving processes.
This position follows a Thursday through Monday work schedule during West Coast business hours.
