Weekend Nursing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
• Participate in developing, updating, and communicating residents' care plans
• Ensure staff is implementing care plans and performing care activities appropriately
• Maintain current resident care plans and follow physician’s orders
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
• Conduct oversight of Charge Nurse and CNA performances
• Contribute to and promote positive resident and family relations

Requirements

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state
• Must be CPR certified
• Must have at least one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility (preferable)
• Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills
• Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilizes appropriately
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel

Pay & Shift

• $40 to $47 an hour, depending on license
• 7a-7p on weekends
• Can be every weekend or every other weekend

About the Role

The Weekend Nursing Supervisor will direct the total nursing care activities in the facility during their shift, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
