About the role

Perrigo is hiring motivated individuals to operate Powered Industrial Equipment across our distribution operations to work on Weekends and Nights. These roles are essential to ensuring our products reach customers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and organizing incoming product
  • Picking and preparing customer orders
  • Loading trucks for outbound shipments
  • Operating Powered Industrial Equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and dock trucks
  • Performing physical tasks including repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, and moving materials

Requirements

  • A High School diploma (or G.E.D.) is required.
  • An excellent attendance record and work history.
  • A valid driver’s license or minimum 1 year of motorized Forklift or Hilo driving experience.
  • The ability to work 40 hours per week with availability for overtime when necessary.
  • Availability to train on other shifts.
  • The ability to complete core skills within 1 month or 30 days.
  • Basic computer skills; point & click, ability to navigate through computer-based training systems.
  • Basic math and reading/comprehension skills.
  • The ability to follow direction and Perrigo’s standard operating procedures.
  • The ability to stand for the length of their shift, with breaks every 2 hours, which will amount to approximately 85% of the total shift spent standing.
  • The ability to see, hear and understand signs, labels, and instructions.
  • The ability to work with potential allergens including: Omeprazole, Esomeprazole, Lansoprazole, Pantoprazole, Rabeprazole, Famotidine, Loratadine, Guaifenesin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Nicotine, Natural Flavorings.
