Business Insider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Writer to join our team. This role requires excellent writing skills, knowledge of business trends, and the ability to produce engaging content that informs and entertains our audience.
About the role
The Business Writer will be responsible for creating compelling articles, blog posts, and other content that covers a wide range of business topics. They will work closely with editors to ensure accuracy and relevance, and will be expected to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit articles on various business topics
- Conduct research and gather data to support stories
- Collaborate with editors and other writers to refine content
- Stay up-to-date with current business news and trends
- Adapt content for different platforms and formats
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in business writing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with SEO and keyword optimization
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing
