Weekend (MST) Manufacturing Service Technician (Weekend Night Shift)

Role Overview: ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Weekend (MST) Manufacturing Service Technician (Weekend Night Shift) to support our lab at our Rio, WI production facility. This role focuses on maintaining and ensuring equipment is in proper working order, supporting Production operations through troubleshooting, supply management, and equipment maintenance.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Service Technician supports Production by maintaining production instrumentation and parts, managing supplies, maintaining logs, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, and assisting with special projects.

We will consider the right candidate for either weekend days on a 3-day schedule: Fri–Sat–Sun (12-hour shifts, 36 hours total). Hours are 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with eligibility for a $5.50/hr shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Provides troubleshooting and repairs of equipment in-house
• Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on lab equipment and instrumentation
• Cleans microfluidic components
• Maintains inventory and record keeping
• Assists Technical Support management in ongoing CAPA/RCA projects as needed
• Upholds Genus core values, mission, and vision
• Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications (required):
  • High School Education (HSE) or equivalent
  • One year of lab or similar technical experience
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two-year technical degree in a science-related field
  • Experience in microfluidics, flow cytometry, or laser optics

Pay

Starting pay is $23.50/hr, plus the applicable weekend shift differential and merit. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
