Weekend Housekeeper

About the role

Regal Heights Rehab and Nursing Center is a skilled Nursing Facility located in Jackson Heights, Queens. We are a local home, located next to public transport, looking for a housekeeper to join our team. Great opportunity to join a supportive, positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that equipment is clean and in working condition
• Follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner
• Removal of trash and used linens
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner
• Properly store equipment, tools, and supplies
• Report any broken equipment to supervisor

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel, hospital, or nursing home setting needed
• Should be able to lift up to forty pounds
