Weekend Direct Care Farm & Greenhouse Recovery Support Staff- PT

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and take care of all animals on the farm (chickens, ponies, sheep, dogs, rabbits, cats, geese, ducks, and goats)
• Water the greenhouses and check heating/cooling systems are functioning properly
• Handle all garden chores
• Work on landscaping projects for the properties
• Engage residents interested in helping with the chores

Requirements

• At least 21 years or older to operate CooperRiis vehicles and equipment and to be covered under CooperRiis Insurance
• Experience working on a farm or garden setting
• Able to work in various weather, be moving, lifting, and bending for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds consistently
• Able to operate farm machinery such as tractors, large mowers

Pay

• Starting at $17.00 per hour and increases based on experience

Schedule

• Friday: 1 – 5 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 8 am – 5 pm
