Weekend Day shift Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.
• Operate and monitor equipment during production to maintain quality output and minimize unplanned stops.
• Feed raw materials into machines and follow standardized work procedures to create products.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal waste of time and materials.
• Accurately complete production reports and provide data to floor leadership.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to run a machine and work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment.
• Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Ability to measure and count accurately.
• Read operation standards and complete daily reports (e.g., quality, production).
• Lift at least 50 lb (depending on department).
• Perform repetitive motion tasks.
• Stand 10+ hours per day, sometimes in one spot.
• Bend, twist, stoop, and reach above head as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, push, bend, and/or squat for 10+ hours per shift.
• Lift 25–50 lb at a time.
• Perform repetitive tasks regularly.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
