Weekend Controls Technician

About the role

The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment performance and perform diagnostics on electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
• Use ladder logic programming (particularly Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 and 5000)
• Manage work orders via EAM
• Evaluate new equipment, backup programs, and set up servo controls and variable frequency drives
• Collaborate closely with maintenance teams and the Custom Equipment Process Group to improve machinery and troubleshoot electrical issues

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience
• Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
• Proficiency with enterprise asset management software and Microsoft Office
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses

Skills

• Troubleshooting motors
• Using digital multimeters
• Documenting parameters accurately
• Supporting plant-wide PLC systems

Schedule

Friday to Sunday, with initial training on day shifts.
