About the role
The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, to ensure equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing equipment performance and diagnosing hazards
- Using ladder logic programming, notably Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000
- Maintaining backups of program files
- Evaluating new equipment
- Performing basic motor and servo troubleshooting
- Setting up variable frequency drives
- Assisting with electrical issues across the plant
- Working closely with maintenance teams and the Custom Equipment Process Group to improve machinery
- Documenting technical parameters accurately
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
Skills

Schedule
Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with training on day shifts before transitioning to evening shifts.
