About the role

We invite you to join our team at Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. We offer competitive starting wages ranging from $20.00 to $22.25 per hour, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for full-time positions.

Shift Availability

Shifts are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6a-6p or 6p-6a. Flexible pay options are available, including daily, weekly, or bi-weekly payments through UKG Wallet.

Compensation

Starting wages are $20.00-$22.25 per hour, based on experience and a $3/hr weekend warrior program. Additional benefits include:

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment
  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred

Job Functions

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision performs the following tasks:

  • Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
  • Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
  • Assists residents with feeding
  • Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas
  • Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed
  • Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
  • Performs other tasks as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Essential skills include:

  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
