Weekend Caregiver | $25/hour

Continuum is looking for a skilled, compassionate PRN Caregiver to support a female client in her home. This is an every-weekend position covering two 12-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate is confident with hands-on care, proactive with housekeeping, and comfortable working in a home with dogs. Weekend Caregiver Schedule Every weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday)12-hour day shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Weekend Caregiver Responsibilities Provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygienePerform gait belt pivot transfers safelyAssist with mobility, positioning, and safety monitoringPrepare meals (client may occasionally choose to cook) and assist with feeding if neededPerform light housekeeping (vacuuming, bed-making, tidying, etc.)Respond appropriately to client requests for help; assisting with household tasks is requiredProvide companionship and maintain a calm, supportive environmentCommunicate clearly with family and care teamComfortable assisting in a home with dogs Weekend Caregiver Requirements Experience with mobility-impaired clients requiredStrong gait belt / transfer skillsDependable, flexible, and professionalMust be comfortable with dogsAbility to work 12-hour shifts Preferred Weekend Caregiver Qualifications Takes initiative and works independentlyPatient, kind, and respectful of client preferencesStrong communication skillsValid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportationAble to pass background screeningPhysically able to assist with transfers (with assistive devices) Why Join Continuum?
