Weekend Caregiver $23–$26

BrightStar Care of the Monterey Peninsula is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers available to work Saturday and/or Sunday providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes.

Schedule

• 4-hour, 6-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts available
• Day, evening, and weekend availability
• Flexible per diem scheduling – choose shifts that work with your availability

Pay

• $21–$24/hour base pay
• $23–$26/hour for weekend shifts
• Additional $2/hour differential for weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized in-home care
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities
• Prepare meals according to client needs and dietary requirements
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying
• Provide medication reminders as permitted
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition
• Complete caregiver visit notes and care documentation
• Follow client care plans and HIPAA confidentiality requirements

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry
• Ability to reliably work scheduled weekend shifts
• 1+ year of professional caregiving, home care, senior care, personal care, or Home Care Aide experience preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Assistant, Personal Care Attendant, Direct Support Professional, CNA, or Senior Caregiver is a plus
