Weekend Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Full-Time

About the role

This is an active, hands-on role where you’ll spend your weekends helping youth build confidence, develop healthier routines, participate in therapeutic activities, and navigate behavioral and emotional challenges in a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Spend your weekends helping youth build confidence, develop healthier routines, participate in therapeutic activities, and navigate behavioral and emotional challenges in a safe, supportive environment.
• Support and supervise youth throughout weekend programming.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients.
• Help clients develop routines, structure, and life skills.
• Support therapeutic groups and recreational activities.
• Aid in transportation using company vehicles.
• Observe behaviors and document progress/concerns.
• Respond calmly during emotional or behavioral escalations.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and behavioral health staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to remain calm in high-energy situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in working with children and adolescents.

Schedule

• Friday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (documentation/admin)
