Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program
• Maintain client documentation
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
• Cook and assist with the dietary needs of clients
• Coordinate client activities
• Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
• Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment
• Avoid performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience in a hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus
• Active valid driver's license
• CPR course required within 30 days of hire
• Completion of various safety training upon hire
• Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to perform frequent extended transports
• Excellent customer service skills

Pay

$15/hr before shift differentials

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Tuesday - Saturday - Days Off Sunday and Monday
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Sunday - Thursday - Days Off: Friday and Saturday
• 7:00am - 3:00pm - Saturday and Sunday ($1.00 extra for shift differential)
• 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Monday - Friday ($1.00 extra for shift differential)
• Saturday and Sunday ($1.50 extra for shift differential)
• 11:00pm - 3:00pm - Monday - Friday ($1.50 extra for shift differential)
• Saturday and Sunday ($1.50 extra for shift differential)
