Weekend Anchor/Reporter

Saturday and Sunday 6&10pm Anchor, MMJ Three Days a Week

• Help on weekends working with on-call manager making editorial decisions
• Write anchor packages on weekends when needed
• Fills-in anchoring other newscasts as needed
• Aids in writing, copy editing, researching and coordinating news programming and other content
• Acts as a field reporter as assigned
• Participates in promotional activities including public appearances

Requirements & Skills

• 2 years TV news reporting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required
• Flexibility to work any shift
