Weekend AM Shift Caregiver at Assisted Living Facility

About the role

We're looking for compassionate and dependable individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those struggling with a temporary set-back or with the regular difficulties of aging. Our team of caregivers seeks not only accurate care but also enriching personal interactions for our residents. Residents and their families often comment that they love our staff's friendliness and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing and grooming
• Provide assistance with showers and medication management
• Prepare light meals and assist with laundry
• Escort residents to and from the dining room and activities around campus
• Provide general support to help residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam
• Commitment to excellence in care, even in small details
• Maintain professionalism in following HIPAA standards and promoting resident dignity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as needed
• Comfort with being active and walking (or using golf carts) across a large campus
• Reliable attendance, teamwork, and patience
• Prior experience in caregiving is preferred

All caregivers will receive online and in-person training prior to working independently.
