About the role
The Home Instead agency provides nonmedical care to clients, allowing them to remain in their homes safely and with dignity.
Responsibilities
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping tasks
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to appointments or errands
- Caregiving for clients suffering with Alzheimer’s, Dementia or other chronic illnesses
Requirements
- Driver License
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check
- Pass a Criminal Background Check
- Pass a Drug Screening
Qualifications
- No previous experience required
- Must be able to represent Home Instead
- Must believe in the following characteristics:
- Treat and care for clients with dignity and respect
- Communicate with clients, staff and others professionally
- Want to bring positive change to the lives of those in need
