About the role

Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Seattle. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding, flexible babysitting job with supportive leadership and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow

Schedule

• Monday–Friday availability preferred
• Most shifts occur between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM
• Typical shifts are 4–6 hours
• Work with vetted local families

Requirements

• At least 1 year of infant childcare experience (may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings)
• Love working with infants and toddlers
• Dependable and professional
• Strong communication with parents and children
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• At least 2 childcare-related references and 1 character reference
• At least 18 years old

Pay

$21.30 - $25/hour + overtime pay
