Job Summary

We are seeking a web designer to help us create a structure and design options for our nonprofit website. The ideal candidate will assess and incorporate our goals and needs, considering our key audiences. They should also assess our technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interview us about our desired features, web capabilities, and technical expertise
• Create a requirements briefing based on the interview
• Audit our current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements
• Collaborate with our team during various check-ins to gather feedback
• Deliver a draft of architecture and design concepts that we can share with a web developer volunteer or a member of our team

Requirements

• Experience in creating website architecture and design options
• Ability to assess and incorporate client goals and needs
• Technical understanding of web development and our current site
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with our team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in web design
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
